![]() This is not the fun part of the game for either side. ![]() Spawn camping: the most fun you can have in this game is coming across an enemy gari and blasting the guys as they respawn, making for an extremely frustrating play time for the guys on the shit end of that stick. I play support a lot - its my highest level class, at the start of the game theres 5min of strategy and redeploying and then after that you generally dont need supplies as often so simply dying in combat will "redeploy you" so then i get to go clap some ( normally a lot of) cheeks Rolls: why is the best way to win is to have one slave re deploy(die over and over and over) every 5 seconds to put down supplies all over? It's not a fun play style but is absolutely necessary for a decisive victory. Its when you have bad SL's that shit falls apart because then the actual troops dont know whats going on and what they should be doing. Not always true i would rather no commander to a bad commander but we have won games with both, as long as the SL communicate you can get by. if you have one and he sucks, team is fucked. Normally when comms is working i will try and get people talking and if that doesnt work I will hop squads until i find people talking.Ĭommanders: if you dont have one, you're team is fucked. Recently the company handling the games VoIP has not been doin the best job so some games there will be no comms are a result. for a game with 50 people running one way, the world chat(v) is dead, compared to a game like Holdfast. ![]() Stop before you push through a new or exposed area and scan for enemies - especially if you are about to put yourself in a bad spot.Ĭommunity: its very rare to find a squad of 5, all using mics. lots of running, only to die to someone you dont see. For more information, open a discussion on reddit in CruciblePlaybook.Gameplay: the game is very dull. The first match you play of a playlist, your Elo will start at 1,200. Elo does a soft reset every season as well, where you will not be fully set back to 1,200, but you will be moved back closer to 1,200.Ĭheck out our Elo leaderboards. It is our opinion that our Elo system is the most accurate measure of skill in Destiny 2. We've analyzed our databse of players and found that we can very accurately predict who is going to win a match. If you you win when you were expected to lose, look out, you'll be gaining a lot of Elo!Įlo's primary goal is to be an accurate system of skill - Not a progression system. If you beat a team that you were predicted to beat anyway, that means your Elo is pretty accurate, and your gain will be minimal. As you win, your Elo gains will go up, however, who you won/lost against matters. The primary indicator of whether you gain or lose Elo though is if you won or not. That's not the only modification though - We've made other changes to reward players who do better in the match. We have modified this formula to work for team based matches. That said - Elo was created for Chess, a 1v1 game, to track a players rating and predict who would win betwen two players. The process is simply, we go match by match, per playlist, and process each match and use Elo.
